The Windows 10 task manager contains a complete list of processes that load the system. There you can also find the state of service of the services, as well as configure the autorun of programs. Most often, users use this utility to close applications. Sometimes the instructions for changing any parameters of Windows or solving problems mention the Task Manager. But there is not always an explanation of how to open and use it.


To begin with, consider ways to open this utility. In the early versions of Windows, it was called through the combination of Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Now, the simultaneous pressing of these keys opens the system menu, in which there is an appropriate item. But there are simpler options:

  1. Just press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on the keyboard.
