We’ve all experienced the dreadful dance of rebooting and updating our computers while we sit twiddling our thumbs and our productivity dwindles to zero. And with consumer complaints on the rise about some of these damaging updates, now is the perfect time to take control of when and how you update your Windows 10 PC.
Here’s how to pause Windows 10 updates.
1.Click the start menu on the taskbar.
2. Click the settings icon in the start menu”.
3. Select “Update & Security” In Windows Settings
4. Select Advanced Options in Windows Update.
5.Click on the ‘Select date’ drop-down under Pause updates,
6. Specify a date until which you want to pause updates. (Please note that currently the maximum time you can pause Windows updates is 35 days)
