Creating a bootable flash drive
Windows 8 support has not yet been completely discontinued by Microsoft. This means that the original image of the system can be downloaded from the official website. For this, a special program is used – MCT. Also, with its help you can make a boot media. But this option is not suitable for everyone. Many users prefer third-party system assemblies in which some components are initially disabled or, conversely, new ones are added. In this case, the previous option will not help. You can also make a Windows 8 boot flash drive using special programs, for example, UltraISO.
Method 1: Recording and downloading the original image from Microsoft servers
It is recommended that you download the image of the operating system using the Media Creation Tool. This program is officially supported by Microsoft, it is designed to create boot media and download original versions of the Wing OS. Media Creation Tool:
- Download the program from Microsoft – go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId = 510815.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Indicate the initial data: Russian, the desired version of the OS, as well as architecture.
- Then install the record on the removable media, select the flash drive and confirm the complete removal of data from it.
The OS will be pumped from the official developer servers, immediately then the creation of the boot media will go. On average, the procedure takes 20 minutes of time, but it all depends on the characteristics of the computer and the speed of connection to the Web.
Method 2: Record any image of the system
The first option is suitable for situations where the user does not have the G8 image, and he wants to get the original operating system. And what if all the files are already available. In this case, you can create a Windows 8 boot flash drive using a special program. For these purposes, it is recommended to use UltraISO. The official software page is https://www.ezbsystems.com/download.htm. Download the installation package with the desired language. Then open the file uiso9_pe.exe. During the installation process, no parameters need to be changed, at the end, check the box next to the program launch point and click “Finish”.
Choose an option “Betailed period…”.
Press Ctrl + O immediately and specify the path to the iso file with the operating system. On the toolbar, open the section “Self-loading” and click on the item “Write down the image of the Hard …”.
