Learning with the iPad: The Apple School Manager is a key component when using the Apple tablet in schools. The manufacturer’s free tool helps to configure and manage the iPads and allows you to buy and install apps with discounts for the education sector. Mac & i introduces the basics of applying and enrolling in Apple School Manager in a new live webinar. A workshop based on this explains how to use the service and link it to a mobile device management (MDM) system in order to manage devices and accounts.

The Apply for and register for the free live webinar Apple School Manager and the online workshop Master Apple School Manager are aimed at IT teachers who want to apply for an Apple School Manager account for their school, as well as IT managers and administrators at schools and school authorities.
The 120-minute webinar explains how to apply for and register for Apple School Manager. We will guide you through the registration process and provide important tips for planning and implementing the software setup correctly from the ground up.
The two-day online workshop goes into great detail: the topics range from the basic settings in the Apple School Manager and the connection to an MDM server, to managed Apple IDs and the various account roles, to purchasing of apps with an educational discount.

Prerequisite for participation in the workshop is admin access to an Apple School Manager. We also recommend an iOS device that can be reset for testing, as this also demonstrates a practical workflow for automatic registration and importing apps.

The live webinar will take place on July 5th , October 5 and November 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The ticket costs 89 euros with an early bird discount. Participation in the workshop is possible on July 20 and 21, October 12 and 13 or December 7 and 8, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The workshop price is 990 euros (890 euros with early bird discount).
